Hi folks,
I could use some help in figuring out why Fan Speed as well as CPUID Hardware Monitor report system temperatures of 96 Deg C at idle and 103-104 Deg C at full load with Prime95? Is this a normal range and what does the reading indicate (North-bridge temp?)? I'm a little new at this, so any help would be appreciated.

That would be a bad or stuck sensor my friend check your bios then compare with software temp and see the difference then you will know what its really, mine is the same, way says mobo temp is 96c but in bios its 29c also check to see if the software temp number fluxuates this will tell you if its stuck or not

Thanks for the response Sh0ckerNXT. I think you may be right. Here are some temp readings with Prime95 running about 30 min @ 3.045 GHz X8.5:
W/CPUID Hardware Monitor:
SysIn 105
CPUIn 48
AuxIn 31
Core 0 59
Core 1 42
Core 2 37
Core 3 48
W/Real Temp
Core 0 50
Core 1 32
Core 2 28
Core 3 38
W/Core Temp
Core 0 58
Core 1 41
Core 2 36
Core 3 45
Seems that CPUID and Core Temp are somewhat consistent at least. Real Temp reports stuck sensors on Core 1 and Core 2. I really don't know where that leaves me other than it appears that 11 degrees between cores is too high and I may need to reset my Zalman. What are your thoughts?
