I think my OS is corrupted from to many BSOD's it says windows/system32.dll not found also ports dissapearing from computer cant delete files even in admin. sound like OS corruption?

OS corruption or faulty HDD sectors usually. Load to your Vista disc. There is a repair option. I am not as impressed by it as XPs repair options but it is automatic at least and may save you from having to format. You can also go to the run command, Windows key + R, and type sfc /scannow if you can get in to Windows. You will need your Windows disc to run this. It it the Windows System File Checker. I would probably run the diagnostics for your hard drive too.

ok but will it be better to just reinstall since i dont mind anyways just to make sure?

Full reinstall is always better than repair. =)

runs great now but still the same problem unidentified network when i try to repair it says no media is connected. bummer :/
