Checking in, they are still fighting (AKA mom still insane). I will stay down for at least a week more. I am having fun though, going to the movies and beach.

Dad is trying to bribe me, he offered to get me a PS3, should I take that or get a new PC? I think I would like a PS3, it would be nice to have a up to date console, and not only that my old PS2 has a failing GPU. Do you guys think I would be happy with a PS3?

You also should have received that processor today.

Well mom doesn't let dad in the house, and a Private Eye has his PC HDDs...

Well should I wait and get a new PC, or get a 80GB PS3?

Here is the PC I picked out. I will have raid with the 2 drives that has both OSs on it, then a 3rd 75GB drive to put my iTunes songs and what not on.

Is it possible to have a shared drive with My Docs on it that both XP and Vista can access?

I believe you can. You will just need to set the pointers for the same directory for the OS to see them. i.e. D:\My Docs

I took all of my docs off the boot partition years ago and placed them on a different drive. I then created a script to back them up to another drive weekly (I am still trying to get Vista to work properly though).

Good Luck with the parents. I hope for your sake that you dad was not cheating on you mom. My Ex cheated on me and took the kids away when she got caught. It took me 7 years and 10's of thousands of $$$ to get them back and now they won't even talk to their mom....

Dad moved into an apartment, and filed legal separation. I might move back, or I might say down longer, I don't know.

O, and I am still single, and scared my purple hair will fade to pink.

What the hell?

Just showing a little compassion. Usually when parents break up there would be some slight emotional problems for the kid(s).

Well I am home, I am getting a new PC and leaving the old one at moms house. She took the HDDs out of dad's PC and is so depressed she doesn't have a PC, we are telling her to just put them back in, there is no reason to take them out.

That is our storage PC will like 40GB in pictures
