my laptop cannot detect the controller, the laptop is using Windows VISTA.

I registered in the XFX website but they did not send my a confirmation email. so i cannot get any numbers or ticket.

is it possible to make it work in vista, i would not mind if i can't customize the buttons. i just want it to work.

Thank you. I hope someone can help me on this

This forum is for motherboards and graphic cards, this is not XFXs gamepad support; that being said, is that pad vista compatible?

There are only XP drivers for the controllers. It should run on the base game controller driver fine though. If you plug it in to another machine is it detected? If it works fine than check the device manager on your laptop when the controller is in and try uninstalling the driver and letting it automatically find one. If you installed our driver uninstall it. It won't work with Vista.

i have tried it on a XP machine, worked fine without drivers.

It should work without the drivers on Vista. Does it pick it up in Device Manager?

yup, it recognized it as an "unknown device".

I will grab one and double check but I was under the impression it would work in Vista if you loaded a basic windows driver.
