Oh ya I heard about this, its being built in dubai and it looks sweet. It would be a problem if one of the motors fails though. But other then that its mighty expensive.

Looks cool but I think I'll keep my feet closer to the ground.I wouldnt be so paranoid. Theres an equal chance a terrorist could blow up any building you reside in at the same time.

Actually, the chance that building gets blown up is actually smaller. Its in Dubai, they are able to place tighter controls on their citizens. They don't have the same rights to privacy that Americans do either. Not many terrorist attacks in Dubai, ever.

I dont want to start a debate but for a country where so many "thousands" of kids die so much from starvation i find it funny that this town is so "rich".

Wow, I have problems with revolving doors, imagine revolving buildings!

Remember that Dubai is the weapons supermarket of the world. if it can shoot, blow up, or restrict individual liberties, you can buy it. Thus I don't think they have a lot of terrorists there.

Every year Dubai has a big weapons trade show... I think it's the Dubai Air Show or something. Anyway when I was working in the defense industry, we would usually work towards preparing for the show or would set deadlines for our projects based on the show, because our salesmen needed working demos. :)

This wasn't one of the biggest weapons manufacturer though, so couldn't live solely out of government contracts who don't have the same kind of schedules...

There was a recent movie... huh... the latest Bond? Not sure... That famously makes a joke of it, it starts at the Dubai show where some terrorist group like Al Quaida is trying to buy planes, and the hero just jumps aboard a harrier, shoots everyone and leaves... :) I'm sure it's not a perfect reflection of reality. :)
