Is it just me or anyone also observed the same thing?

I have most of the voltage setting on manual to keep them down, since auto drives them high and wasteful. I turned off 1394 port since I don't use it and am looking for ways to turn off other unused stuff. Funny that power is a none-issue to me since the full load of the system is probably less than 350W and I hooked it with a 750W PSU. However, I set CPU voltage at 1.25V, but CPU-Z and NVIDIA control panel shows less voltage. Not that it is a bad thing, but if somebody can answer this that would be great.

BTW though some people have problem with this board, I love it. When ever I screw up the setting, it boots in safe mode next time I push the button.

What you are seeing is called Vdroop. It happens on all Intel front side bus based motherboards. The Vcore will always fall from what it is set in BIOS.

If you are in to engineering and want to know why Intel designed their architecture this way here is a good read: http://www.thetechrepository.com/showthread.php?t=126

Thanks a lot. That's exactly what I'm looking for.
