I have always been skeptical of those. The theory behind it is sound but i am not really sure. If it only costs a few bucks to build one i might as well as try it out and see for myself.

They do work, my uncle is making one. They drawl 3amps, but do get hot.

I'll tell you that it will work I didn't think it would but boy does it and it seams that as you go along you get better and the unit get better and the you get where you want to be. like I said I'm getting about 27 + now and working on my 4 th one now... "try it You'll like it"

What is this exactly? :???:

Pegasus13
07-01-2008, 12:58 AM
It runs from 5 bucks up to what every.... My first on cost somewhere around 5 to 10 dollars the one I'm building now it around 30 dollars now at this time I'm saving about 40% on my gas that's $1.63 per gallon, so about 20 gallons of gas and it's payed for... not bad math... If you would like I can send you some plane if you have a e-mail address... see you have a nice day.........

Hmm.....

I've been reading up on this 'HHO' thing and a whole mess of people say it's a scam and it doesn't work. I know for a fact that whatever water4gas.com sells is a scam.

I'm pretty sure car manufacturers would have adopted this a long time ago if it really worked. From what I see, it's just a jar, wires and tubing.

If we can get the plans for free i'll check them out.. Using some basic chemistry and physics it wouldnt be hard to decide if it'll work

The concept is good, but these 5 dollar ones don't really work.

The electricity turns the water into water and hydrogen.

Has any one been ask for money for plans?

The engrish in a couple of the posts has the hackles up on my neck and I get the distinct smell that only comes with one famous potted meat.

Let me know if a cash solicitation has been made for plans which would make this pretty much spam. We all know what happens to spammers on Bjorn3D.

I know it works, and that you can take to the bank.... I do each week. Yes it's just a jar, wires, and some tubeing but it works, my middle son drive 60 miles a day to and from work in 5.1 mustang and get about 36 mpg with no problum at 65 to 70 mph each day sometimes 6 days a week. so for what it's worth department... NO..... I'm not asking for any money at all............. you can do what I did and go to YouTube and figure it out your self or if you would like I will send you some information I got or I can tell you where to go get the same information.... what ever...

If you don't understand it don't ask, You know you asked for more information and I gave it to you, so if you can't read and understand what you are reading then don't ask. I cam to this site because My youngest son ask me to and he told me to post something I enjoy doing and it is helping others and trying to get ahead in this life, You know I'm 65, I drive trucks 12 to 14 hours a day when I'm working and I don't ask anyone for any thing and when I can help someone I'll try, you ask for it and got it now you don't understand so it my falt or it bogast and the only answer is "I'LL FLAG IT" what every the sam hill that is, I'll tell you what, I'll just get off YOUR site and you can do what every you want... I was just trying to help some people, so pay your 5 dollars a gallon and don't try to figure out how to save a little, I don't make a million dollars a year, I'm just a working fool, see you all...............................

Honestly Pegasus13, you came off pretty random making your first thread about HHO. You seemed like a scam to most from your writing style.

http://bjorn3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24587

The thing is you keep on providing us shady links to crappy websites that are supposed references. Usually if something like this was true, a big well-known website would have more information about it. Not too many people would just pick up random parts and start attaching them to their cars and trucks without knowing if it would work or not. I surely cannot be the only one that thinks like this especially if you car is worth over $10k.

And don't get us wrong, we respect you as a member that's part of the community. We're only sharing our opinions about the subject at hand. Don't take anything we say personal. ;-)

he is fairly new to forums , i am tring to show him how to use them , as far as the hho thing it does work and i myself has helped him make one or two of them . those are the links on what got him started to building these hho devices . the concept isnt misleading , you take water break it into 2 basic forms , 2 parts hydrogen 1 part oxygen ( the molecule of water ) then use the oxygen and hydrogen intruduce it into an engine to burn it therefore subsidizing gasoline ( hydrocarbons ) . hydrogen being fuel , oxygen being the oxidizer , and the engine the spark . if you have any doubts in your mind at all , look it up . google it . or build one .

I also thought is was fishy, but a friend of mine son did a project for a college class where he got it to work. He got a 50% increase in fuel mileage, but there was some weekly maintenance he had to do. He used a 90's S-10 which got 15-16mpg before the conversion and went up to 24-25mpg. This may not sound like much, but this kid has a lead foot. I have a vechile like his and I get 18-19mpg now without running HHO.

If I get it to work. I will post my results. I look at it this way. If I can save a buck or two, I will give it a try.

Needless to say, I am going to give it a try.

just for info sake , i just got done chit chatting wit pops ( pegasus13 ) ( and yes he is my dad and yes i do live with my parents bc of certain circumstances that are out of my control ) he has turned off the folding and said he might not return . because he felt he done something wrong . i exlained the best i could why things are the way they are . but he still feels he done something wrong ..... just remember i brought him here i introduced him to this forum mainly bc i periodocially stop by here ( this isnt my home forum sorry bout that ) so i can check up on how he is doin and tell him whats what with forums an so forth , so he could possibly learn a few things and help others out as well ... its hard to find good forums that are active and can generally talk bout a lot of things ... i been checking on things on his posts the only thing i seen wrong was he made 2 posts of the same thing ( which i did explain to him why not to )

MtDew when do you plan to have it up and running. I was thinking about trying it out since looking at it, it wont take much time and less then 20 to make it. So worth a shot. The one thing i don't understand though is how can it work if electrolysis takes more energy then it makes or does it make up for it by making the gasoline burn that much more efficiently.

I am looking at all of the differant designs and trying to decide. I even checked out one of my co-workers design that he is planning on installing this weekend. The hardest part is going to be gathering all of the materials. It look like I will be able to get most of them from Home Depot. I will post on this thread once I get it up and going. From my early estimates, my unit will cost more (~$50) as I am going to add a circuit to adjust the O2 sensor output.

Raptorfury - Tell you pops that some people are not ready for this info yet. I know I wasn't a year ago when I first saw it. Tell him to keep plugging away and hang in there. After all, there were a few years ago where if a person had a computer they were considered a geek!!!
