:icon_tiphat:Hey guys im new to Bjorn3D Forums,
I've read a few post and sounds like you are the people ask about my problem.

Last week i bought a NEW computer woop! My First build, had a friend to help out.

:help:But I can't get the sound to work I'ved tried everything. Im running Vista Ultimate 32bit. And I get an icon in the taskbar (bottom right) of a speaker with a red cross saying `No Audio Output Device Installed`, I`ve tried updating the realtek HD sound driver with no luck. When i go into device manager and look at the Realtek properties. It says `This device cannot start (Code 10)`.

Computers stats:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping (2.4GHz 1066MHz) Socket 775
Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W PSU
XFX nForce 790i Socket 775 3 way SLI 1600FSB DDR3 onboard audio ATX Motherboard
Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10666 XMS3 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL9(9-9-9-24) DHX Technology Heat Sink Lifetime Warranty
XFX 9800GTX Extreme XT Edition 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI HDCP HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card

I think im going to go :explode: if i can't get any sound...
Thanks

Have you updated to Service Pack 1? Did you use the drivers from the disc or from the web? This was a clean install of Vista and not one you pulled from another machine, right? Uninstall the drivers that are currently installed. Update to SP1 if you haven't already. Download the latest drivers from Realtek, ftp://202.65.194.211/pc/audio/Vista_R196.exe Try installing them again.
