I guess I must be on a spam list. I get these all of the time. If you really check into it, the link sends you to China or Russia. Everytime I get one of these, I report them to the bank they came from.

Well the whole point of scams is to look legit.

Yeah I got that e-mail and for the heck of it followed the link. Norton would not even let the page open saying it was a known phishing site.

Yeah you really have to watch phishing scams. The reason why they are so popular is because they do fool many people. The links will look legit to the real site and ask you to enter in your information because there was a security breach in your account. They do this for online bank accounts, paypal, ebay you name it. Just remember, your bank will call you and ask you to come to your bank branch with ID if there was a security problem. They will never email you about that.

A fool and their money are soon parted...Don't be the fool!:icon_tiphat:

It's cool how some spams are starting to look really legit, with pictures and nice graphics and all.
I find it fun being caught off guard.

Too bad I'm still getting plain text spam and that's so boring lol

No wonder Bank of America has new security stuffs in them all the time. I always use online banking to check my balance and things change frequently.
