lets start with specs:
XFX MBN790IUL9 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard
Patriot 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory x2 for 8 gigs
Thermaltake Toughpower W0133RU ATX12V / EPS12V 1200W Power Supply
Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme Quad Processor QX9650
XFX PVT98FYDDU GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) XXX 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 x2 for sli
Seagate Barracuda ES.2 ST31000340NS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148278) x2 runing in raid0 stripe
at first before upgrading to the newest bios i was having stibility issues, so i updated and then changed the memory voltage to 1.7 and the mgz from 1066 to 1333 and still had issues so i tried just using 2 or one memory module and had the same issues, then i read about changing the 1t to 2t and gave that a go. Win vista 64 still bsod'd and said to check memory or video card. And here is where it gets interesting, i then go and try to put all 4 modules back in thinking maybe its because i dint have a pair in seeing ans the memory is duel channel and with all 4 in it give a C1 error code even after resetting the bios. I can put 2 modules in but they have to be next to each other (like slot 0 and 2 not 0 and 1)or i get the same error
