Well I have a gpu folding client on my bro's computer and I beleive it has a low ppd. He has a 8800 gts 640mb. A E6750 at 2.6ghz. The clocks on the video card are as follows 618/1431/900. Ive tried all the drivers and nothing. He is getting about 2600 PPD. I beleive it takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes to finish one WU that is worth 479 points.

Is the cpu slider set to 100%?

If you are running any other clients along side the GPU client on your brother's computer try manually setting the affinity.

Check the task manager and see if "FahCore_22.exe" has a 100%(it should be 50% since he has a dualcore CPU) load on it.

Other than that use v177.35 and make sure the "CPU Usage Percent" slider in the GPU client's settings is all the way to the right side.
