SuperPI is just as important as a 3dmark score.

my e6600 at 3.6 did 14 seconds and some dust. Those quad scores suck, but are not really relevant. Super PI is for XS LN2 extremists.

Yup. The main point of my post though was to show, they are coming :)

I bet a dual core intel would still out perform that.

I tend to agree... My E6550 can do 1M in SuperPi at just under 20 seconds...

But as people have pointed out, SuperPi doesnt really mean much

I find SuperPI and 3DMark a little pointless..

To do a REAL test, IMO, they should to actul things, such as encoding, gaming, etc..

My Pentium Extreme Edition 3.4 could out perform AM3 quads.

You know... the Pentium D with hyperthreading...

FIRST QUAD CORE!

My Pentium Extreme Edition 3.4 could out perform AM3 quads.Ahahha my 4000+ @ 2.8ghz could bust your P4 EE down to the ground.

They cant do games and stuff like that yet. Im suprised they where able to pull this off without being yelled at. And the point of me showing this was just to say hey look AM3 is coming around.
