Saw this over at HardOCP first. A little known Japanese browser called Sleipnir is set to take on the big guys. IE and Firefox. The main thing it brings to the table is high customization and the ability to select either the Trident or Gecko layout engines for each Web site visited. You just click a button and use the one that works/looks best to you.

Sounds interesting anyway, and more pressure will push Microsoft to improve IE further. Think if there had been no Mozillia or Firefox after Netscape. We'd all still be using IE 6.xx.
