AVG Auto Update

Iv re-isntall AVG, but for some reason i cannot enable automatic updates.

Do i have a virus or somtin? Gonna do an ad-aware scan after i re-install Cuda drivers

Hi what OS are you using if it is vista you have to install microsoft hotfix KB929547 first I had to do the same thing I'm not sure if that's what the hotfix is for but the AVG auto update's fine on my 64bit & the 32bit

i got 64bit vista home premium.

I couldn't get auto update to work on XP with version 8.0 either. I got fed up with it and installed Avast! instead.

This is how I was told to do it 1 download AVG and save it 2 download ms hotfix
KB929547 and save , 3 remove old AVG make sure you tick box to remove user setting's then reboot now install ms hotfix reboot now install avg and update, I have installed AVG this way on about 5 computer's in the last week vista and xp and have had no problems You should only need the hotfix for
