Dear XFX ppl

I do not remember weather the P07 680i lt mobo bios had better fan control or not, I am running the P08 one now. The fan speed can be lowered only to 50% as the minimum in bios. Could you guys change that please as currently the mobo fan is the loudest piece of hardware in my system. I've used ntools to lower the fan to 33% witch is pretty good sound wise however constantly going in and manualy changing that is a drag. So please find it in your kind hearts to look at this feature when you you release another bios update.

Thx

OC or not the original fan on the xfx 680i lt sounds like a jet engine over 33%. I didnt have a prob with it when i had a loud PSU but not it is the loudest thing.

I just think the bios should have the option to better tuning the fan for those with sensitive ears.

There's a post on EVGA forums regarding using Speedfan on the 680i, might want to check it out:

Maybe they realized the 680i fans needed to be running 50% or higher to keep the chipset from expiring. All in the hopes of cutting down on the high fallout on this series.
