Excerpt: "Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P featuring Intel's P45 chipset that is capable of delivering a good performance at affordable cost. In addition, this board is built with Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 where Gigabyte adds 2oz of copper to help reduce power consumption and keeps the components running cool. The motherboard also boasts ample of overclocking tweaks and supports DDR2-1336+. We put this board against the more expensive EVGA 790i FTW Digital and see who comes out as a winner."

Hi,

Up to which graphics card and RAM can be put here. I assume this is a totally new board, correct?

nope, this board still supports the same DDR2 and the PCIEx 2.0 cards. It's P45 board but Gigabyte has done something ot make it very oc friendly and also runs cooler(Presumably, we cna't really test it:)).

why so cheapskate and review with old beat-up CPU, new mobo wit 1333FSB need 45nm CPU for proper overclock, this board can do 550-600 FSB easy, dump old CPU for reviewing new stuff please.

This is still one of the best dual cores around, its a great test CPU for this board. This is a P45 board if you want high end go look at a X48 board.

thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, I understand that the E6600 is older CPUs. However, you have to keep in mind that OC is always YMMV:). I was surprised to find the OC result as I have seen higher but I also have seen people who simply can't go pass 450MHz. Still 450MHz FSB is not too shabby for the board.

Of course, with the right combination and tweaks, one can always achieve better result.
