Yep, I am so happy! I am getting this camera for Christmas!
Canon Vixia HV30
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=177&modelid=16206
I did a lot of research and it seems like this is the best consumer camcorder out there. Got a good deal on it. $429 after tax and shipping! WOW! It's retail price is $899 on Canon.
It's Full HD 1920x1050 resolution, with 24P, 30P and 60i settings.
Manual Focus, Aperture, Exposure, Shutter Speed.
Also got these items to go with the camera:
Extra High Capacity LiON Battery BP-2L24/22 f/ Canon
Crystal Optics High Resolution 3 Piece 43mm Filter Kit (UV PL FD)
Crystal Optics .45 Wide Angle Lens 43mm - Increase Your Field Of View!!
Crystal Optics 2x Telephoto Lens 43mm - Double Your Zoom!!
5-Pack 60min Mini DV Tapes
Deluxe Full Size 2-Way Fluid Panhead Tripod
Deluxe Photo Carrying Case
Table Top Tripod with Extension Legs and Tilt
Deluxe 3 Piece Photo/Video Care Kit
Universal Screen Protectors
All this came out to be around $580 after tax and shipping! :D
Maybe later if needed, and when I will have a bit more money I'll buy a DIY 35mm adapter with a 50mm Nicon lens, which will allow me to get very narrow Depth of Fields. But that is too expensive for me right now, since those kits can go up to about $1000.
Here are some videos to take a look at on how well the camera works:
Make sure to enable High Quality Mode.

So what do you guys think? I think I had a good deal on this camera! :icon_tiphat:
