Hi I am having a bit of a problem.
I am having trouble getting any form of linux (mythbuntu x64, ubuntu x64 desktop, ubuntu server x64)to find the hard drives on my xfx 750a.
I have 1 sata dvd burner, 1 ide cd burner, and 2 sata hard drives.

I have tried disconnecting the burners in various configs., but the only thing that has worked, is to have only 1 hard drive connected for it to work. I was wanting vista on one hdrive and one of the linux's on the other, but it won't let me.

I have also tried changing the sata mode to ahci mode, but got a blue screen(some vista issue) , I haven't tried changing to raid mode. I was afraid it might mess up my installation of vista that is installed already.

Anyone gone through this issue, any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou

edit:I used the tech support button on the homepage and didnt notice it put me in the grapic card forum, would a moderator please put this post in the correct forum

You can get around that blue screen when you enable AHCI in Vista. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

You will probably have to load drivers for Linux during your install. I have heard that people have had issue getting some distros to work. Ubuntu, in my experience, is a pretty slim distro and doesn't come jam packed with tons of drivers by default like say Suse but I haven't touched anything Linux in about a year. You can get drivers from NVIDIA at http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html but they are only offered as is. The best place to look is probably one of the Ubuntu forums.
