GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphic cards and other pc components, announces the qualification for the GIGABYTE OVERCLOCKING CHALLENGE today. Every owner of a GIGABYTE motherboard can take part during online qualification for the final event in Hamburg (Germany).
“Our motherboards have reached a lot of overclocking records,” told Kristina Mainzer, head of marketing at GIGABYTE. The live event in Hamburg on 10th and 11th of April will be based on GIGABYTE’s mainboards with Intel P55 chipset. Additionally, GIGABYTE will offer own branded VGAs, CPUs from INTEL, power supplys and memory from CORSAIR and HDDs from SEAGATE. The participations are in charge for the cooling. “But we will definitely offer enough LN2,” announced Kristina Mainzer.
The best overclocker or the best overclocking team (up to two persons) has the chance to qualify for live event in Hamburg. The participations have to sent a photo of their PC, screenshots of the benchmarks Super Pi 1m and Intel Burn Test – reached with GIGABYTE motherboard – and a wallet photo together with the application form that can be found on http://overclocking.gigabyte.de (http://overclocking.gigabyte.de/).
The winner will receive a hardware package from GIGABYTE and a special surprise. Also the three best teams will be awarded too with a hardware packaging of:
* GIGABYTE P55 motherboard
* GIGABYTE VGA
* Intel Core i5 CPU
* Corsair memory
* Corsair power supply
* Seagate HDD
