I've just noticed there's no 'Unigine Heaven Scores' thread, so I decided to be the first one to open such.

PLEASE MAKE IT A STICKY!

Here's my score with my new Gigabyte HD6950 (unlocked to HD6970 ;-)):

2652

You can download the Heaven 2.1 DirectX 11 BenchMark here: Download (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1799/mirrors.php)

In order to make the benchmark scores uniform for all members, please do your best to run Unigine Heaven Benchmark with the following settings:

Benchmark settings for DX11 runs:
API: DirectX 11
Stereo 3D: Disabled
Shaders: High
Tessellation: normal
Anisotrophy: 4
Anti-aliasing: 2
Full screen
Resolution: 1280x1024

Benchmark settings for DX10 runs:
API: DirectX 10
Stereo 3D: Disabled
Shaders: High
Tessellation: disabled
Anisotrophy: 4
Anti-aliasing: 2
Full screen
Resolution: 1280x1024

Here is my Benchmark Results at Normal Tessellation. After starting the Benchmark I changed the API to DirectX 11, unchecked full screen, set the resolution to 1024x768 and tessellation to normal then Benchmarked. These are the settings we use at FoulPC in our Heaven Benchmark thread.

We actually used to have this thread but since it wasn't stickied it wasn't kept up.

Some defaults need to be set to make it a bit more fair to other people or else we have random scores everywhere.

Yeah, I agree. Everyone should be running at the same settings...

I'm also afraid this thread will get 'lost'. That's why it must become a 'sticky'. Who should be responsible for this?

I think 1920x1080 would be pretty standard ?

plus you could do 2 ways to bench "Normal Preset" and "Extreme Preset"

I had set a standard for all benchmarks we do at FoulPC so they are always comparable. Resolution of 1024x768 was chosen so even my 8 year old nephew could participate, being only eight his Dad did not want to spend a lot of money on his PC. Since FoulPC is a Private Forum my nephews are members. FoulPC is an acronym for the intent of the forum, I created the forum for our LAN Party Community.

I think that 1920x1080 is too high. For example, the highest resolution I can reach is 1680x1050 as I have 'only' 22" LCD.

That's why I had a set standard of 1280x1024 with 2xAA in DX11 mode.

That sounds more logical...

Thanks man. Just added it to the main post. :fing10:

In addition, I'll re-run my own benchmark with these settings and update my score accordingly. ;-)

No prob. I apologize for my bench being 4xAA. I would rerun but I would need a fresh format to do that and I'm in the middle of a game right now so can't be bothered.

Now that's dedication. Playing a game and surfing the Bjorn3D forums at the same time.

Lol not what I meant. I meant I'm currently in the middle of getting through a game and I don't wanna be bothered with messing with saves and possibly losing my game through a format.
