Since the last 2 posts are about bad drivers. I got one that happened to me recently. I was waiting for a train to go by about 20 ft behind me is a stop sign so before u get to the tracks you have to stop. So i am not sure what this girl was doing i never even heard her brakes. She rear ends me getting me a little closer then i want to be to the passing train. It was a company vehicle so i didn't really care, i pull to the side. We look at the damage not to bad but i have to report it then she gets mad at me saying i don't have to make such a big deal lets just go. Well the stories long and to make it short i figured out why she didn't want it reported. No license, insurance or registration and i still can't figure out how she hit me, would she have went straight for the train if i wasn't there?

did have it reported at least so that she wouldn't be driving again?

Yup, i had to or id be fired. I only found out because the cop started asking her for the info and she couldn't produce. Then i was on my way as he continued to question her so i have no idea how it turned out in the end but i am pretty sure it was bad.

Sometimes I wonder what the circumstances for people not having personal and/or vehicle info are. Like this woman in this situation you were in. Why did she not at least have a DL on her.

She was probably too busy gabbering on a phone to pay attention to the road. People scare me...between the 80 year olds behind the wheel and young adults, and even older adults doing a dozen things while driving a several ton weapon i hate driving.

She didnt have a phone either so i don't know how it even happend. The first thing i thought when i got hit was cellphone. Only other thing i can think of is maybe makeup.

or maybe she's just the proverbial air head....
I see them all the time. and you probably saved her life by being in the way.

Maybe drugs? My experiences have told me that people that don't have ID, don't have registration, don't have insurance, and don't drive well, and then they insist that a fender-bender not be reported (and you were in a company vehicle so she should have known that you have no choice and that you're not going to lose your job over it), that these types generally have a substance abuse problem. I'm not generalizing or stereotyping, and it may not have even been her car, but with so many "I-don't-have-its", I kinda points that way....
It's probably a good thing that you were in a company vehicle - otherwise, any damage to your car may not have been covered.

She wasn't on anything i could tell. Not by choice i am around casual to full on massive abusers. It's probably the reason why though i can't even touch a drop of alcohol. I am turned off to anything that alters your state of mind even if it is legal.
Yah i am gonna have to lean toward a total airhead it was a young girl i think she was just scared.
Not trying to be mean people are really just broke many don't have insurance and drive around with expired tags. The town is a poor town as a whole. Lots of field workers my family also used to be in the fields my generation is actually the first to not work the fields and go to college.

I work near a university and can't tell you how many times I have almost been hit by stupid college kids just rolling through stop signs like they don't exist...so I wouldn't be surprised if its the airhead excuse.

Funny thing, I dont use a cellphone, but me and a few buddies were out riding our bikes like we been for past few days for some night excercise, Well, he awnsered his phone, 30 seconds later, he almost fell, and went backwards, popped a wheelie, landed hard on his front tire, and Boom, looks like someone put m80 in his tire and blew it up, He had to walk 5miles home by himself because of it. Almost got hit by a car too I forgot XD.
