[ 5/27/2011 7:17:39 PM] why are you giving me info for refurbished boards? I purchased a brand new board from tiger direct in feb 09. I recived it in march09. that board had to be rma`d right away due to it being defective from the start. the system was pretty much unusable. this board has been in my system since june 09. it has not lasted the 2 yrs/24 mths that theses boards are warrantied for. What I want to know is if there is anything that your company is willing to do about it?



is this the poilcy there? cut the warrenty when it's been rma'd

[MARK_C 5/27/2011 9:29:55 PM] Hello Michael, I am sorry. The warranty information was pulling up for after we refurbished that board and resold it. The serial on the board that you have is different. It is K2W001884. Retail motherboard have two year from purchase date warranties which would still be expired if it was purchased in 02/09. Thank you. Mark

Thats a real bummer man. What company is that. I will make sure I never use them. I always stick with the brands I have used forever. Gigabyte, Asus, Powercolor, GSkill, Corsair, Antec.

apparently they looked up my original board whih was fixed and resold as refurb. but the original purchase date was feb 09. so even tho i didn't get a full functional board till june 09, they say my warrenty is up. this pos lasted 23 months. the warrenty is 24 months. I feel like I was ripped. i didn't ge 24 months of a working system. well don't matter they don't make anything i'd buy as i don't use ATI cards. as for the psu's if they had one strong enoug for what I'm trying to build i'd think about it. but they don't so that aint happening
