Corsair launched Carbide Series 400R and 500R cases designed for gamers. The case is build with the same builder friendly philosophy as the Obsidian Series but retailed at much cheaper price point. The 400R carries MSRP of $99 and for $30 more, you can buy the 500R at $129. Both cases features room for 240mm dual rhttp://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/NewsAtBjorn3dcom/~4/LUqK3qlr51k

Very True. But I would like to see a little better flow past the HDDbays.

2 120's up front should be good ya could always zip tie another 120 on the back of the HD bays as long as your GPU wasn't too long

No i meant the 3.5 are in the way too much metal there.. I like it when you can remove the unused slots.

500r and the obsidian case can do that.

I did not see that the 500r did that. Thanks Victor!

Wow...nice cases. But honestly, I still prefer the obsidian, it's just that it is too expensive...

then you'll have to get one of these cases just a minor version of the full tower kinda like Cooler Masters HAF series

As a PROUD owner of CM HAF-932 case, I really like the roomy design. That's why (in case I'll ever choose to move to Corsair cases) I'd either choose the Obsidian 800 to replace my current HAF-932 or go with the mid-tower Corsair 650D for a secondary rig, in case I'll ever build one.

I know the H100 looks great and the bulge is kinda cool for cable routing in those cases

Yea thats how my Dragon Rider is. Plus it has a fan on the back of the mobo where the cpu bracket goes.

does the bracket need extra cooling?

Every bit helps. That bracket gets hot when folding. I think it is more for cooling the mobo than just the bracket. I like it though.
