EUFI bios detecting K8100 keyboard as mouse + hub

It seems my EUFI bios on the ASUS board is detecting my new Aivia k8100 keyboard as a mouse + hub so I can't use it in bios but in windows its ok. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Possibly a bios fix may help out.

I would report this to ASUS so that if they see enough of this they will put a fix in the next update.

they are pretty good about it. good luck to you. have you tried other ports on the keyboard to eliminate that as a possiblitiy? I know they all the same but computers work in strange ways. for intance my razer mouse cannot be on the same usb header as my key board.

this seems to b a reoccurring problem on new EUFI bios ya just gotta wait till a bios update fixes it but in the meantime use a ps2 converter if ya have one

Yea I reported it to asus support and they suggested I clear the CMOS and try the keyboard with a bios in another computer.
