This game can take a LONG time to achieve 100% completion with, and one thing near the end that can cause many a player frustration are some of the base jumps that require a steep downward angle on the take off, which is hard to pull off with the standard jump-off-the-building method.

Thus I made these videos to demonstrate alternative launch methods which yield a great trajectory every time. Happy free falling JC 2 lovers. :shaka:

That's fantastic. A bit over 20 seconds on them that has to be a record. Tried the base jumps a couple of times and gave up. I kept to blowing stuff up so I could hear, "Here comes the cavalry!"

I've pretty much only got races left to do and a nagging 3% completion left on the Panau City Financial District that's driving me nuts. The hard part is going to be the 3 star aircraft races. I gave up on a 1 star one last night that has a nasty climb up over some mountains to one of the last checkpoints.

I liked the game but my copy of vista suddenly turned out to be regigisterd to someone else (so much for "no, nobody's using this copy") so i only got a little way into it.

The helicopters is about all I could handle. I think it is the Financial District on mine that says 100% but no check mark.

Yeah some are upgrading helis and using those for the races that give you a plane. I might have to try that. I had 100% on one of the Panau City districts with no checkmark, but it turned out I was missing something I ended up finding in the wooded hills in the outskirts of the city, then I got the checkmark.

I keep thinking the item I'm missing in the Financial District must be a propaganda trailer. Someone said he was stuck on 97% there and found one hiding in the trees somewhere for the last 3%. The weird thing I noticed about races is propaganda trailers will reappear near the start of some of them.

The propaganda trailers sound like a local (the sticks in Ohio) carptet outlet commercial I hear once a day on TV.

The beauty of using Steam is I deleted the local content around Christmas but all of my awards were saved. Downloaded it in February and played it again until mid-May. Going to try and finish in November. I wish there was a quicker way of traveling. I have taken to stealing jets if I have a long way to go.
