My brother needs a laptop and I'm not sure if this is that much of a good deal.

The specs seem good but i'm suspecting these are usually from old revisions...

plus it's a refurbished product.

Its a good spec sheet and from a good company. Originaly it was 1200.00 at best buy when it came out. Also it has A 525M vid card 1GB. i7 quad with HThredding also. Its basically a desktop in a laptop. Does he need that much power?

seems like a good deal to me
