I will be running a SLi setup, but still need a cheap power supply (all the money has gone on the other components :D ) so if you could post your views on what is the best value, SLI compatabe, power supply, available in the UK i would be very gratefull.
Thanks

Look and see what an Antec True Power 550 EPS12V goes for. That is what I am using for my 2 6800gt's. I am alos running an FX 55 with 2GB of RAM and 2 HD's so it is a good power supply keeping all this running.

Silverstone, Thermaltake and Enermax have SLI-marketed PSUs that may be worth looking at.

What cards are you running, LJ?

Silverstone Zeus is a very good PSU. I use one on my dedicated benchmark setup. Very low signal to noise ratio and tons of power.

I think you should get Enermax because of The Ring Core: is design to lower the EMI level so it won't cause interence with other electronic devices.

Enermax 350W here. I would recommend it to anybody. However, it's certainly NOT for a cramped case - you get a hell of a lot of connectors and wire length. I shoved them in a drive bay.

I generally always recommend PC Power & Cooling TurboCool power supplies, but I believe they're a bit hard to come by in the UK. They have excellent voltage regulation (arguably the best of any PSU) and the rating you see on the power supply is actually what you get during normal use. Peak power that these units can put out is is always much higher than rated output, unlike most Antec PSUs where you're lucky to get even the rated nominal power during high loads.

OCZ Modstream or Powerstream would be my next choice. They are also quality power supplies for the enthusiast and they should be much easier to buy in the UK.

But considering this post was from March and I doubt you've taken 9 months to decide on a PSU, I don't think these suggestions even matter.
