Not really, but it’s a start in the right direction. We found this on the Seagate site and thought we’d share it with you.

“According to Neowin.net (http://www.neowin.net/news/a-hard-disk-that-lasts-10-million-years), ANDRA, the French nuclear waste management agency is developing disk technology “made of sapphire and that should last for millions of years to let the offspring of humanity know that there is nuclear waste buried beneath the ground.” A very noble endeavor to say the least”
