Hello...any of you is using a software to transcode using OpenCL with an Ati card?
I've tried Cyberlink Mediaespresso...but it gives a bad quality. What's your preferred software to do that? If you try to search news about gpu transcoding there are a lot of discordant news...

Try the free download of Roxio Creator. In the past I have only used Nvidia cards to help in the transcoding process. I use PowerDirector a bunch. That being said, this article has kind of pushed me towards QuickSync http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/the-sandy-bridge-review-intel-core-i7-2600k-i5-2500k-core-i3-2100-tested/9
I have only one program on my 2600K system that can take advantage of the hardware though.

I have never personally got any programs to really utilize the GPU power on either camp.

yeah I use PowerDirector too and it's blazing fast to conver my DV video into Mpeg2 and mastering it on dvd. But I need some easy software to recode ..transconding :). Yeah I've read that article...If I had a new Intel cpu I would give it a try! QuickSync seems to produce very good results!

The quality is worse when using QuickSync.

of course the quality is worse comparing to x86 code...but I've seen some comparisons...and you won't spot the difference. Any others advising me some software?
