Facebook is proposing to remove user's right to vote regarding some significant issues regarding the social media. If 30% of the users agree on something, Facebook must respond to address what the users want. Also true for the opposite if users are against changes, Facebook must abandon proposed changes if 300 million users voted against it. However, this user power might be gone in the future as Facebook says it's hard to govern a billion users and keep them happy and plans to remove user's voting power. Facebook would replace the voting feature with a 7-day comment period regarding proposed changes.

Frankly it sounds reasonable. It's not like they advertised things greatly before previous changes, and I never got to vote, and frankly voting is less informative than comments.

+1, that function is isn't popular and necessary , they advertised so much and i hate advertisement.

I have been on Facebook 2 years and didn't know they had a voting system lol. No sweat off my back.

I think I encountered it once at the facebook CS page. Can't even remember what I was voting for. But I do use the "report" feature a lot.

Been using since 2007 although i Hate it, and I didn't know there was a voting system either. But i Do know that there's a question thingy, is that the voting system ? :S

It would look like a poll thingy on the side of the customer support page.. that is if you visit the page. I rarely visit it.. the first time I visit it was when I accidentally activated timeline LOL. Then there was a survey about it and haters ranting all over the place...
