I am looking to get into modding, i have a Lian li, and since there is a dead zone around the GOu a want to put in a top 120mm intake fan. I have seen mod guides using the dremel but only on hin metel cases, nothing like the thickness of the v2000 series. Has anyone had any experience with this series, how easy is it to mod using a dremel?

I see no one has replied to your question. For starters I'd like to tell you it's EASY to cut into the aluminum that the Lian Li cases are made of (with a Dremel) but I don't recommend it.
If you really want ro punch a 120MM hole then I recommend you using a Power Drill (not a battery operated one) and a 120mm Hole saw adaptor available at Canadian Tire or Home Depot.

First lay down some masking tape and draw the circle in the size you want.. then you must punch a hole using a standard drill bit this will allow you to use the hole saw. It will make a perfect circular hole.
Much better and cleaner then a dremel. Sanding afterwards is also easy..;)
G'dluck.
