Movie price Questions

A couple of questions....

How much does it cost to go see a movie where you live? & where do you live?

Me it's Vancouver Canada and they lowered there prices so instead of having cheap tuesdays the price is always; if I remember right, $10.00 CDN.

I am curious cus in the forums someone said it was $5.50 to go see one!

Yup, matinees (usually before 6pm) are like $5.50-6.50 in most places I think.

After 6pm, the cost goes up to $7.50-9.00.

Well no Silvercity where I live so I think its $8-9CAD. Not bad but for a screen that is smaller than Silvercity not really worth it.

$5.50 matinee in North Florida. I can't remember when I last went prime time.

Our local theatre is $2.99 and has 4 shows, it is an older theatre but I can take the whole family for $12.

The one in High Point and Winston are about $7 or $8 unless you go early and it is only like $4 or $5, haven't gone to a movie except the old theatre in a couple years..

At our local theatre it costs me $8, which is ok but it better not get any higher, else I will spend many more nights at home rather than at the movie theater....

When I was going to university in Wpg, the price went up to $12.50!!!! That's just crazy :evil:
