yeah i used to play this at a friends house, i got the arrow keys to move and ctrl to shoot and shift for bomb my friend would get WASD and the space bar and w/e for bomb... i probly had the most fun playing this game untill the halflife series and the rest of valves heavily addicting games

Hmm. It's been to long since I've watched any of the three original Star Wars movies I guess...

At least in that game, the majority of the ship's "colors" were determined by squadron that ship was flying under, which was a major plus when there would be more than two squads in the area under different flight leaders. Not even mentioning the Imperials that had defected to the Rebels but were flying Imperial ships... ;) But the default color was usually red in that game, and I think the Imperial insignia was always red... but so was the rebels if I recall correctly. I wonder if the game would even work under XP, I was playing this game back on windows 3.11 :lol:

It's definitely not a shuttle, and definitely Imperial... but I'll settle for the exact title of the game itself I guess. :)

Hey, when I play a game, I play the game! I have to know the hows and whys behind everything, usually can pick up more tricks and gain a bigger edge that way... If the enemy is flying the same fighter as you and you have a PvP squad vs squad dogfight/melee, going by the colors on the hull instead of waiting for the pilot name to pop up shaves a few seconds off each kill... :twisted:

It's not X-Wing Alliance, but I suppose it would fall under the "other games in that series" part. I would have sworn this was a dead giveaway... Anyway it's the Imperial Missile Gunboat, the best and most tricky ship in the game to fly after you've expended all the heavy stuff on single-handidly killing some capitol ships and only have a single laser cannon to take on the now quite peeved defending pilots. :mrgreen:

Nope.
The sreenshots were taken at the only resolution the game would run in (640x480), so it's not a recent one.

All right: it was released in 1997 by a company that is releasing strategy games to his day. They weren't really famous back then, but they are now.
The developing company was a one hit wonder, disappearing shortly after their game hit the shelves.

All right: it's an RTS, several tribes fight each other for the control of an island inhabited by dinosaurs and various prehistoric creatures. Some tribes use dinosaurs, others use magic or manpower. The player can play any tribe in the single player campaign (IIRC, 12 levels long) and the game supports a few multiplayer modes as well. It was released in Asia, Europe, and North America (in English, of course).

Hmm, it's a world domination game that was distributed by Dreamcatcher Interactive, I think the publisher got shafted on the deal but I don't have the details.
