Ooooooh, if I could only select ALL options.
There are too many thing that I would like to upgrade in my current PC. The three things that I mostly like to upgrade are the CPU, Motherboard and Video Card.
I had to choose one, so I chose the 'CPU' option. But, in that case, the CPU I'm interested in is the Opteron 146 (socket 939), which means that I'll have (anyway) to upgrade my mobo and my AGP video card as well. For those I would probably choose the DFI NF4 Ultra-D and a nice 6800GS or 7800GT.
Too bad I cannot afford none of them.

Hard drive for me, I am going to add a 4th drive to my RAID 5 to add read performance.

Do we have a "Select All" option? If not, the next upgrade I would have to say would be my video card... alas the ATI 8500 has definitely seen better days :(

For me nothing really. I would say a HD but I just got a 300GB Maxtor. Monitor would be the next upgrade. 15 inches of a 10+ year old monitor doesn't quite cut it these days.

I voted Motherboard, but actually I'm getting ready to build a new system: mobo, dual-core cpu, ram, video, and maybe soundcard. I'm currently on an ancient Socket A and I want to move into the world of PCI-Express and dual-coreness. Oh, and I might as well go with a new SATA hard drive too. Sigh, this is going to be expensive.

The thing I would like to have are 2 Raptor 150GB in Raid 0 setup.
That would be sweet ... just need the money though I might wait till the prices go down.

Well, money is the only reason there is no "Select all" as one of the poll options.

For me it's sort of a toss-up, I'd like to get a new video card and/or a new dual core CPU (socket 939 Opty 170 or so).

Since I've just won the XFX video card :D , my next upgrade will probably be a new NF4 mobo with a X2 3800. I decided to give up on the Opteron 146/148 and go for a Dual-Core CPU. I probably won't go for Dual-Core Opteron 165/170, since they are a bit pricey, especially after the price of the X2 3800 has dropped.
Anyway, I'm still saving to afford this upgrade, as the X2 3800 costs over $300. :(

I think a X2 3800+ would be on next big upgrade next to a monitor but I am gonna see how the AM2 turns out.

Probably another Gig of memory to bring it up to two, that'd be the best "bang-for-buck" for me right now.

My next upgrade may be out of necessity, as my recently acquired ATI HDTV Wonder card seems to be over drawing my 330W Antec power supply. What do you think?
When booting up cold (having been off for many hours), my system will start up and then about 10 seconds later the power will just cut out as if I had hit the reset switch. A few seconds later, all the fans and the HD will spin up again. This will repeat every 1\2 a second to 30 seconds about 10 times before it will boot up and remain stable for hours. Oddly, if I reset my computer when it is "hot", it will boot up right away with out the power cuting out. I suspect my Power Supply is being overdrawn as I also have Radeon 9800, AMD XP3200, 1GB of RAM, HDTV card, sound card, 6 USB devices and HD runing all the time. I think heat is also playing a role due to the status of the computer when the problems occure, as my room is like 65F degrees all the time.
So my power supply is probally next, if that is really the problem. What would you guys recomend? This Antec has been flawless and VERY quiet, it is just not powerful enough with all this new hardware I have added over the last 3 years.

330W doesn't cut it these days. You should get a higher wattage PSU with atleast 400W. Also does this always heppen it coud be a overheating issue too since it shuts off really quick.
My AGP grfx box needs a non-AGP upgrade, but I'll wait to see what AMD has comin' 'round the bend.
Until then, a color spectrometer & hotas setup would be nice.
Oh yeah, and an Intuos3 6 X 8 Tablet.
And a View sonic G225FB.
And another Dell 24" LCD.
And an Ulti-Mat mousepad.
And...
Should I go on?
The list is quite long.

More memory would be nice. As with others, I just have to scrape a few extra dollars together.
A new video card to replace my 6600GT, but that's not for some time.

For me, a new video card, but I´m waiting 6 months more for an AGP dx10 compliant video card, I think that my barton is still good enough

I have now discovered the source of the problem. My PSU was at fault, but it was not due to being overdrawn. Rather, the connector between the wall cable and the back of the unit had fine dust collecting on the contacts. I suppose that when the contacts heated up, they expanded half a milimeter or so and made consistant contact, but only after a few minuets of heating. The problem has been solved by a simple cleaning of the contacts. As this is such, my next upgrade would have to be a better speaker system. This Altec Lansing AVS500W 4.1 set is just not enough audio goodness anymore. After that, another video card upgrade would be nice, maybe after some prices come down, or I win the current contest! :D

Video card. Planning on a X1900 XT when I can afford it. That is unless by that time Nvidia's G71 pops out and blows me away... then I'll have to go and sit on my thinking log...
