Sony 60" Grand WEGA SXRD (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=KDSR60XBR1&Dept=tvvideo&CategoryName=tv_hdtv_projectiontv_55%22to80%22) :)
I didn't take any pictures of it, yet. Waiting for the stand to show up so I can get everything in place and then I will snap a few.
I powered it up just to make sure it works, it does. I messed with the settings and got it set how I like it and the image is awesome. Can't wait to watch my DVDs in 16x9 mode now. I think I'm going to get a DVD player that can up convert to 720p next, so I can get some real quality out of it. :P
And before you ask, no I didn't pay that much for it. I know a guy who works for Sony and he gets a nice discount.
Now bow down in awe before your master. I said bow!!!

Scott,
I do have a Sony STR DB920, at least I think it's a 920, not sure, will check when I get home. It's 5.1 Dolby Digital/DTS theater amp/receiver. I've had it since 1999 or 2000, can't remember, but it's been a while. Haven't needed to replace it yet, but there may be a need in the future (might need more digital inputs).
Once everything is hooked up I will get some pics of it, which may happen Friday night, if the stand comes by then.
Can't wait!!!

That's pretty sweet, ghidora.
So, what speakers do you have to make your watching experience more enjoyable?

The satellites are Sony SS-MS5 and the sub is a Sony SA-WMS5. I got them as a separate package when I ordered my amp. Oh, the amp isn't an STR-DB920, it's an STR-DB930.
The satellites sound good, but the sub is starting to crackle, so I think I may have to get a new one. I'll wait on that for a while, considering what I spent already. ;)

I've got a Panasonic 53" CRT and am very happy with it, but that TV makes mine pale in comparison

Finally got the stand yesterday. I put it together and put the TV on it. I only hooked up the A/V receiver and the DVD player, but I intend to place my XBox, Playstation and VCR on the shelves as well.
I think I will start building some DVD storage fixtures next. I'm getting way too many and I've run out of room.
I've attached a shot of it on the stand. Look at my DVD player on the middle shelf and the double window behind it for a size comparison. I didn't take the shot straight on, which is why it looks offcenter - it is centered, I measured

Man that rocks, wish I had room for one but the house came with a huge stupid cabinet. I may be albe to fit a 32" LCD in it but I will wait till they get cheaper.

Wow, that is a SWEEEEET setup you've got there.... I hate how they make you pay a ridiculous amount for the tv stand though... they know you want and will make you pay for it  end rant ;)
Anyway, enjoy the tv! :D :)

Scott, you can always remodel the room to make it more home theater friendly  I intend to do that to my living room, eventually, but right now, it's all about enjoying my movies. One thing at a time. I've been in this house for four years and I'm slowly making it into what I want - new side entrance door to the garage, new garage door, new roof for the house and garage. There's a lot more that needs to be done, but sometimes you just have to upgrade your entertainment equipment.

That is sweet. My Wega is dated now and we need to get soemthing newer.
I was going to buy a projector and 110" screen, but they told me the rooms I had in mind for it upstairs had too much light. I'm still thinking about making a room in the basement into a theatre and adding stadium seating. I just had the pool table moved into the idea spot for it down there, but my wife really doesn't need that big pantry
Anyone have projector? If so how does the picture look?

That's one dead sexy television - I'm really itching on upgrading but I think I'm gonna wait until 1080p becomes a bit more predominant.

Congragulations!
You can be confident in the fact that your purchase is the right one. I work at Circuit City and have the privilage of being up close and personal with it every day, and it is gorgous. The image is truly flawless and when 1080p content is played on it, it almost makes you fall down as it is so disorinting on your senses if the right content is played. It has superior black levels to any plasma TV, better and brighter colors then any LCD, DLP or projection TV and is one of the few to have 1080i resolution. It also fails to provide your house with a second heating unit, as it creates noticably less heat then plasma especially. Enjoy your panel!
