PS3 might cost $500

Now how much would this suck if the PS3 did sell for 500 bones? Of course this is because the PS3 will have the Blu-Ray compatibility right out th ebox.

I think it'll still be worth it for heavy console gamers. I think I'll just stick with my gaming PC as I've never been consoles fan ('caughing...', or didn't have the money to afford a console, :wink: ).

Wow, that is really a lot of money...
But compare that to the video cards prices, I think if you're a gamer, it is better for you to go for a PS3 then buy a heavy graphics card for your PC. It is more fun playing on a console in global, at least, for me...

PS3 WILL cost that much, or even slightly more, as it will contain one of the first Blue-Ray Roms built into the hardware. Standalone Blue-Ray DVD players will go anywhere from $1000-1800, some reports have said. So $500 might not be so much after all... the hardcore will of course purchse the PS3 no matter what, but $500 is $500... that's a lot of bank :(
