according to this article the supprt is not limited to Series 7xxx only
if it is true it could mean a big advnce for users of 6xxx cards

I want to believe that this is TRUE. If so, this is really good news! :D

That would be really cool. I'ms till not sure what to use in my final HTPC. Right now I'm leaning towards a X1600XT but I might as well put a 6800GS in there.

If it is a HTPC, why not put only a cheap 6200? (along with a nice PVR, of course). Do you want the HTPC also for gaming?
