how is this the fastest when the eVGA e-GeForce 7800 GT CO 256MB PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, VIVO
is clocked at
Specifications

I looked a few cards up and it seems that the Evga is the fastest in the 256MB GT series.(Core speed wise)
(I'll post lowest to Highest speeds)

Nvidia GeForce 7800GT
Core: 400MHz
Memory: 1000MHz

ASUS Extreme N7800 GT
Core: 400MHz
Memory: 1000MHz

MSI 7800GT
Core: 400MHz
Memory: 1000MHz

BFG GeForce 7800 GT OC
Core: 425MHz
Memory: 1050Mhz

Leadtek 7800GT
Core:450MHz
Memory: 1050Mhz

XFX GeForce 7800 GT Overclocked
Core:450MHz
Memory: 1050MHz

Gainward BLISS7800GT Geforce 7800GS 512
Core: 450MHz
Memory: 1300MHz

EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GT CO
Core: 470MHz
Memory: 1100MHz

(I guess when they meant fastest they meants memory wise. because the gainward is clocked at 1.3 higher then the other ones and has 512MB instead of 256 it might make it faster then other cards. You know clock speeds do mean something but sometimes its not only about clock speed.Look at AMD vs Intel for gaming)

It ain't really a fair fight here with double the ram. They got the sun in your eyes.

Apparently, more ram gives 'em more headroom and they can clock it faster.

And maybe get the drop on ya. And it's gonna cost ya.

Sweet bliss, it's gonna cost ya.

it's kind of interesting to see that overclocking was more of an enthusiasts way of pushing the limit of the product. Now with the success of BFG and other companies that brings factory OC cards, it's becoming like all companies are releasing cards that OC in order to get that extra few bucks from the consumer.

Overclockers pushing the limits of their hardware are admired by those wishing to expand their horizons.

To some, these brave souls are rebels. Admired for their actions and by their deeds.

Revered by many for their sacrifice.

Heed their call.

Go faster.

Join the ranks.

And pay the man at the door.
