Seagate is my fav. I had a WD 120 Cavier SE die on me twice in only a few months apart.

i'm working with WD for more then 3 years and still loving them
i guess that somewhere any manufacturer can make mistake with a batch of HD
so the one that get the dfcted one will ever be anti that manufacturer
Interesting development there...
Here are a few thoughts of mine regarding this:
There are people who are more than satisfied with a low cost, relatively small capacity hard drives.
Nowadays, that CDs and DVDs are so cheap, you can usually backup all your stuff on them and leave you hard drive pretty clean.
On the other hand, there are those who need all the data they can have accessible within a few seconds. They need all the games they have installed and ready to play by a click...
Well, here is my point of view:
I delete everything I don't need (sometimes also things I need :)), backup all data on DVDs and I manage with an "old" 80GB hard drive on 50% of its capacity...
