SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is a scientific area whose goal is to detect intelligent life outside Earth. One approach, known as radio SETI, uses radio telescopes to listen for narrow-bandwidth radio signals from space. Such signals are not known to occur naturally, so a detection would provide evidence of extraterrestrial technology.
I personally sit in the top 95% of the standings for a SETI @ home individual. Please message me of you want to meet alians. lol.
Folding will become obsolete soon, as we will meet alians with the real power to cure illnesses. Cancer will be a thing of the past after we meet them. lol.

Seriously I think Folding is a great program and I have done it myself in the past. But there are many other distributed computer projects out there I just thought that I would supply another option.
