VMware to make server product free

VMware, an EMC subsidiary whose software lets multiple operating systems run on the same computer, is expected to announce next week that it will begin giving away one of its key products for free, CNET News.com has learned.

this software is great and with Dual core cpu you can have a lot of fun checking new OS.

Good to know, I used it once to do a install of Windows 98 in my Windows XP system in order to make a program with the Turbo C++ 4.5 (very old, I know) and it worked very well.
An excellent program to do Virtual machines with other OS´s, it really impressed me.

i used this to test linux connection to internet on XP host.
and was happy to find a lot of trouble before installing it completly on the my machine.
also tested sveral appliaction without damaging my Host
