My wife is working this weekend and we're stuck with one vehicle for a while, so I'm stuck with no vehicle home with my 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son.

I love 'em dearly, don't get me wrong...but I'm about ready for a tiny little break from them rather than being trapped in the house with them all weekend!!!! :?

I'm trying to decide if I should do laundry & clean the living room or do laundry & move my PC into the living room and play around with it and the 42" plasma we got for xmas....

Yeah, me too....but in a nasty fit of realism I decided to clean the living room AND kitchen whilst doing laundry before I play with it.

Gotta keep the peace in the house, makes for a much more pleasant evening with the wife. ;)

Glad to see you have as much fun as I am having. Doing laundry now. First had to clean the laundry room after the cats made a big freaking mess of it. So I went and got an inclosed litter box with a door so hopefully they will keep the pee and poop in it.

Doing dishes also now, trying to get the kids to clean their rooms but it seems like a lossing battle. The fun of step kids, the girls just do not listen very well. My son is mine and Kathies and he does what I say right away since I will not let him get away with back talking.

Oh well maybe I can sneak in a computer game in abit.

Boy I'm glad the wife and I are both semi retired and don't have to mess with all the work junk and all. With the kids all grown and gone, we share the house work and pick-up and go when we want to go. We just got back from a day trip to St Louis to see her son and go out for dinner for the wifes B'day............... :D Now for a bit of posting before we head off to bed...................

I can't wait to retire, probably will in a few hundred years...

I got most of the dishes done yesterday and the kitchen half-way to clean, along with picking up most of the living room. Today I gotta empty/load the dishwasher (again, it's like EVERY DAY! ), sweep/mop the living room/bedroom floors, and take the linens/blanket off our bed and wash/dry 'em and put 'em back on.

(We're down to one set of linen & blanket for our bed, the three puppies destroyed all the rest and I really got wash 'em every other day since the puppies get 'em so dirty and my wife is rather picky. )

On the brightside my Mom is coming by to pick up my daughter in a few minutes and she's going to have her for a couple of three hours or so and I just got done loading up Bloodrayne on my son's PC so he'll be happily entertained which will give me a chance to bang it all out quick like.....and then mebbe get a chance to even play with the plasma! :D

Just gotta wait for me Mum to get here. I love it when my Mom takes my daughter, she's insanely in love with my daughter and the feeling is quite mutual.....Maddy loves Grandma She-she too much to.

They have fun going out, they're very similar 'cept for the 60 odd years age difference.... ;)
