Strange that this topic just got posted............ :shock: Had a friend over today and we were talking about the same subject, he just bought a Intel Mac to see if he could get it to work on both the Mac and his PC. But he still hasn't had much luck as of yet, but he still hasn't given up yet.

as i read the main problem between the tow OS is that OS X uses EFI BIOS
Extensible Firmware Interface, is an advanced BIOS developed by Intel and so far reserved for Itanium platform. It is rather an OpenFirmware than a BIOS, since EFI appears to the user as a Shell. EFI is not really being used in PC world for hte moment.

in that way the Win XP OS cannot even start because it doesn't see the any devices - but maybe i got it all wrong :roll:
