Prey was first announced back in '97, after Duke Forever was.
I have been waiting 10 years for these, it will have to be bloody awesome now in order for me to spend money after waiting that long.
Man...
How come I've never heard of it if it is so "old" and was announced 10 years (!) ago :?:
I should look into it a little...

well, around '98, it just kinda stopped, nothing was said anymore until last year. they realized back then, that they couldn't do that portals very well like they wanted to with the tech that was around at the time. the big engine then was Quake2, Unreal 1.
I remember how advanced Unreal was when it came out. had to turn everything off just to play it, looked like crap. then the voodoo1 was released. best damn orgasm I've had, hehe.
Yup, I know what you mean although I got my orgasm when I got the Voodoo3, when I started to get into PC 3D gaming.
Since then, I just can't stop...
Although, don't get me wrong, there are just perfect non 3D games that I play even today...

ahh, the voodoo 3, now it's in the wife's machine.
what r u running for vid now????
mine's FX 5900XT
My previous one was 5900 XTV and now I am running with 6600GT.
I'll need to upgrade that one since it's getting heavy running high res games with filters and stuff.
