View Full Version : The "Notify me when a reply is posted" option
Hey,
A question:
When I post a message, the Notify me when a reply is posted is always on as default.
Since I am online and watch the forums most of the time, I don't always want to be informed about replies.
If there's a way to disable that option by default, it would be great, since I sometimes forget to uncheck it and my inbox gets filled with messages...
Thank you very much!

That's a default option that you can choose in your profile settings. You need to change "Always notify me of replies:" from "yes" to "no" and then for each post the default option should be NOT to notify you for each post. :)

Is it sending you emails for NEW threads you reply to or to older ones that you would have subscribed to before you changed it?

Maybe you have to edit a reply to the ones you are subscribed to and uncheck the "notify me" check box?
I'm not really sure... some forums have a way to manage all your subscribed threads but ours doesn't appear to have that.
