mmh 18x, that's an odd numbering. I wonder the effectiveness in real world burning. thought the 10x dual layer is nice.
I see no point in increasing the speed of burning DVDs (form my point of view).
I do not burn DVDs so often (as most of us, I guess), so I see no point if the burning process lasts another minute or two (or ten for that matter) ;)

i my eyaes the best feature is DualLayer x 10.
but this media is stil expensive comparing to standrt DVD
Yup, pretty expensive indeed, although it is a nice feature you would want in your burner as prices will go down eventually.

at this rate the BD and HD-DVD will be here before DL will have a normal price and we are the another war of formats again....
Could be, you never know.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
