This week, Apple Computer will begin shipping a new notebook that represents the company's first laptop that takes advantage of the planned shift to Intel processors.
The MacBook Pro sports the Intel Core Duo processor, which the company claims will deliver up to four times the performance of the PowerBook G4. All models of the notebook will ship with faster processors than previously announced, at no additional cost, Apple stated.
