Any other lefties out there who've had trouble finding left-handed computer equipment?
Although we make up about 10% of the population, there just doesn't seem to be a lot out there for the left-handed computer user.
To my knowledge, the closes thing to a left-handed gaming mouse is the Razer Copperhead, which is ambidextrious. I own one, and although I like its weight and responsiveness, the button placement isn't great. Logitech, who I think do a better job with button placement, don't even attempt to accomodate lefties.
Gaming keyboards, such as Wolfking's Wolf Claw or Warror Models

Have any of you left handed gamers had any luck finding quality equipment?

I just pitched my old Logitech Left-handed MouseMan. I've had that since 1993 or 1994. Logitech used to make lefty versions of their mice, but no longer.
I'm now using an ambidextrious Microsoft Mouse. It's OK, but I have to log into Windows with the "left" button, then it switches over to left-handed mode. I'd prefer a hardwired lefty mouse.
I also have a Saitek Cyborg Evo joystick. These are great since they are completely configurable. It's very nice for a lefty.
I use the number pad for most of my movements, and the mouse/joystick for aiming. Works well for me.

I've had the same problems finding mice and whatever for gaming, for years I was using a trackball for this very reason.
I was on one foruma while back and one guy told me that you could call Logitech and order left handed mise like the 500 series. I'm not sure it's true or not, but I don't know if it would be worth the extra cash even if they did make them.
I'm using a older Logitech 300 series right now, I had a copperhead, but ended up giving it to my son cause I didn't care for it all that much.
WHOOT I'm a Lefty.
But as most of us seem to accomplish in our lives, we become ambidextrous.
I became more ambidextrous as I grew up, but hell I still would not want the mouse in my right hand. Lol.
The first mouse I had like most was “dual handed”. (My own apple 2e, I never even got a damn mouse for. Lol) I guess I just liked using My PC mouse in my right hand.
I assume that I actually chose that.

I have 3 Track balls they all are used by my right hand.
I may claim to be ambidextrous and golf both ways, but man “gaming; left” would take a lot of time to master.

Lefty's are witches and used to be burned at the stake....
My sister is left handed, she was always stuck using the mouse right handed and still does to this day.

My right-handed fiance is stuck using he mouse left-handed!
For once a right handed guy knows how a left handed one feels in that matter ;)
I once worked on a lefty work station, it was really confusing...

My wife does a lot of data entry and uses the number pad all the time. She started using the mouse left handed to keep her right hand on the keypad and now she won't go back to a right handed mouse.
My kids switch back and forth, depending on what they're doing. My daughter likes to draw on the PC so she'll use her right hand, but for other things she'll use her left.
I started out using the mouse right handed but switched after a while. It's far more natural for me, although I can use a right handed workstation when necessary.
It's funny to watch right handed people try to use a lefty mouse. They insist on clicking on the wrong button!

As I am a left-handed myself, it's good to know that someone is thinking about us, the left-handed people. I really like the idea. :D
Thanks for the info, Frank.
