this is a game i would love to see .
Falout 2 was great and from then the continue looked very promising.
but years gone by and nothing .
but during an interview about Oblivion there was a question about Falout 3 and there is hope .
The story of Fallout 3 is as long and involved as the plot of the original Fallout. The game, code-named Van Buren, went into production sometime after the 1998 release of Fallout 2. Developers Black Isle Studios, however, was closed down by Interplay in 2003, who later went bankrupt and sold the rights to Bethesda. Bethesda has been working on Fallout 3 since 2004. Does that qualify Fallout 3 as vaporware material?

Well, that's just great.
I really loved that game which combines real-time movement with tactical, turn-based combat.
I hope we will see the third in the series.

Holy *(&*&.
About time we get a little bit of news about that game.
See this is the kind of game I would not rip off the net.
Just hope the third one wont be deceiving cause for sure bethesda will get riped by me if they mess it up.

I believe it won't be deceiving, this series is too good to be ruined by greed ;)
Bathesda can't take the risk of being the one who messed it up.

when this game will come out i hope it will create a wave of similar games .
i mean game sthat take place in the future of earth and not on far away aplanet or afntasy world .
this is a nice change in scenery
I like the fantasy world better, even though it is being use in a lot of games, it never loses its charm.

it has it's charm - but this knid of reality is only on earth like enviroment.
I agree, but I was talking in general, not about this particular game.

Fallout 3 = PC fanboy dream
It's not going to happen. Our best hopes went down when they closed up Black Isle Studios... of course, they'll never admit that Fallout 3 will never see the retail shelf, if only to string us along... which sucks   :(

don't make us cry now Tomato...
it could happen if they will gather enough money and a fan base will be strong then it is very possible that we actually see FO 3

Don't get me wrong, liqnit, I would LOVE to get my hands on Fallout 3 :D :D I absolutely loved the other 2 games, & Tactics as well :) I just don't envision this game as ever seeing the light of day... Much like "Duke Nukem Forever" it will remain stuck in development hell

When I was young I really loved fantasy games.
But I will have to admit to you that fantasy games don't light me up anymore...
Until fallout came out.
I mean it really took me in the game.
When i played i felt like it was me in the future after a nuclear war.
The problem with today's RPG are the linear stories.
Fallout as taken RPGs way further.
I mean I love the fact that you don't have to do one thing to unlock the next then the next little mission to unlock the other.
In fallout 2 if you know how to you can go get the best armor of the game right off the bat its hard but if you plan it right its easy.
Anyways I love the fact that you can see stuff we see today in the game such as weapons and cheesy poofs :p and all those funny reference + they added new futuristic weapons.
I think its one of the RPG that reflects the most real life...to me.
