I don't see an issue with them not supporting HDCP, I do however see a problem with them saying they support a feature when they actually don't.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I wish HDCP would go away, I hate all the restrictions they're trying to impose on us at the hardware level. For every illegal thing they're trying to stop they're going to interfere with many more legal uses. :evil:

Yep, thatīs true, I donīt see the point why advertise a thing that you really donīt have. Itīs like saying that I have a Porsche and I really donīt have it.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of companies that do this kind of announcements, like nVidia which had a failure in PureVideo wiht the 6800 cards and they claimed that it worked perfectly, or ATI saying that their cards supports Physics without an extra card, itīs simply ridiculous
